* Lauren and Calvin sandwich party - How intriguing he thought !
Here’s what our “Tasters” thought. Click the Names to find out more about them.

Zero : After a decent 15 minute walk all the way from the east side, we finally arrived at 404 Lounge. At first I kind of thought that this was the 40/40 Club but when numbers are similar I’m sure you’d make the same mistake as well. We got inside, dropped off our stuff, and proceeded to taste the party. What did we think?
earlyBIRD : It’s been awhile since the entire party tasting team went out in field. If you see me in a review then you know that we got here on early or on time. The people running the door were slowly letting people trickle in so the space was pretty barren when we got there minus many staff members walking around and setting up shop. At least the Guinness girls were nice enough to offer us some beer !

One of them even wanted to get the 4 of us in a picture together holding the beers. How nice :)
Zero : Wow you’re right. It has been awhile since we’ve all been together as a complete team !

Virgin: 404 was very large and very white. The place was perfect for this type of catered event and I really like how easy it was to get the traverse the space. The 3 floors, with the top being an obvious VIP section, had their own distinct layout and feel to them.

The only way we were allowed on the 3rd VIP floor was to take pics. There wasn’t much going on there when we first arrived, but later in the evening, this is where a lot of the food was directly going. A big screen TV sat on one of the opposite ends of the area where people could watch the draft pic.

I should also point out that also later on, these women were giving a lot of guys manicures. I wish I had the nerve to get one myself. Ah we’re so shy :p

earlyBIRD : You were there before everyone else ! You could have !
Virgin: I know, I know…

SWIRL: After hearing this DJ for the 3rd day in a row, it was kind of sad to realize that his set sounded almost the same every time. I know it can be tough to work days in a row and come up with new mixes each time, but I swear I heard the same Busta Rhymes speed read track at every event since Monday. I mean you could still dance to what he was spinning but I want something new every time.

Zero : I did notice that too. Shame.
Hanging out at this party was definitely more of a relaxed, socializing type of event. We were able to have some more tasty Guinness and were also offered again some Grey Goose Cherry Noir. I’ve mentioned before that I wasn’t too crazy about the taste but one of our guys loved it.
earlyBIRD : ME !!!
Zero : Not sure why, maybe because it wasn’t so dark, but people seemed a little more open to having conversation than on previous nights. Of course you had your groups and your 2 and 3 sets, but it wasn’t nerve racking to just have some kind words with the person next to us.
Virgin: It seemed a little out of place but there was another room to the right of the bar where a Blackberry booth was set up. This was the only room that never seemed to get filled as the night went on. Earlier before people arrived, they had the area roped off and I felt bad because the booth guys were kind of caged off from everyone else. I went in to walk around and take some pics but there was a definite feel of boredom coming from the room.

earlyBIRD : After enjoying the cocktails, finger foods, and casual conversation, we decided to call it a night. We snapped some pictures of celebrities on the runway but even with the cheat sheet they provided us, I was still a little confused as to who was who. Maybe because normal patrons would stand in front of the product placement banner and photographers would flock to them and take pics anyway. Regardless, it didn’t really matter because everyone still looked good behind the backdrop anyway.
